Hardeep Samra

Known to many as “H” Hardeep joined the Elkai family in 1987 under the tutelage of Sensei’s Peter Harris and Henry Francis later Michael Harris. He was introduced to karate by his mum as a way of installing discipline following his return from India after a number of years.

Hardeep was not always a willing participant, but with some gentle persuasion from Sensei Henry Francis, he slowly and surely began to enjoy the experience of training and forming friendships which continues to this day. To H, friends have become family, H has competed and won multiple Association and national titles (British and English) he has represented England at World Karate Federation (WKF) events.

In recent years Hardeep has taken on the role of Association Coach for (Higashi Karate) along with his close friend Head Coach Jerome Kumedzina, together aiming to nurture the future generation.
